A wire net conveyor provides excellent means for streamlining a production process that includes heating, cooling, drying, dehydrating and like steps.

By selecting a type optimum to the shape of products to be conveyed and service conditions, and applying various arrangements to the conveyor belt, a wire net conveyor can serve for more efficient production and reduction of production cost.

Examples of Wire Net Structure

Below-shown seven types of wire net conveyor belts are available.

Type S

Characteristics
It has the most simple structure, and consists of single directional spirals inter-woven into the preceding spirals like a diamond mesh wire cloth generally used for fencing.
Although this type is inexpensive, since the belt is relatively easily skewed and wound due to its low tensile strength, it is recommended to join right-hand and left-hand spirals alternately by using cross ribs at an interval (for example, 300 m), or use with a chain fitted to the belt.
Openings of 2 mm to 50 mm are available.

Type B

Characteristics
It is an economical, versatile type of conveyor belt.
Since right-hand and left-hand spirals are alternately joined by crimped cross ribs, it is balanced against strains, resists winding during operation, and provides a high tensile strength.

Type G (Gratex)

Characteristics
While similar to Type B, it uses a smaller spiral pitch and a heavier wire, so that it has a higher tensile strength, and used for heat treatment applications.
Because of a smaller opening, straight cross rods are used.
It can be provided with a cross rod flange.

Type DB (DBC) (Double Balanced)

Characteristics

It consists of a series of alternating double right-hand and left-hand spirals joined together by a straight or crimped (Type DBC) cross rods.
It is well-balanced, and is superior in tensile strength.
It can be provided with a net flange.

Type RR (Rod-Reinforced)

Characteristics
This construction produces a very high tensile strength with minimal stretch, and is ideal for use at extremely high operating temperatures with minimal stretch.
Generally, a common　wire diameter is used for spiral wires and cross rods.
It can be provided with a cross rod flange.

Type H

Characteristics

It has a compound structure with a series of alternating left-hand and right-hand spirals nesting close and fastened by a cross rod, which provides a maximum tensile strength with a minimum open area.
Since the surface of wire net is very smooth, it is ideal for carrying small products.
It can be provided with a net flange.
